Tales of Il Taverna di Muse: Part 1–Reaching Cyberia
Syren and I embark on our journey towards Cyberia, The City of Ladies. It was a bright, sun-soaked day. We left the main road from Duwamish Bay and headed across the Uncharted Lands of Western Lemuria. We followed only our intuition and sped across miles of desert and grasslands. We knew we would arrive without getting lost.
Then, towards mid-afternoon, we came over a rise and saw a river, calm and slow moving. We followed it for a while until we rounded a bend and stopped in astonishment. Before us lay a city—white washed buildings easing up a mountain side, a large domed structure that glittered in the sunlight, and an enormous obelisk with a pulsing light at the time.
Cyberia! I didn’t need to goad Syren forward. She knew and was already splashing across the river.

I know this may not be how everyone imagines Cyberia. This is composed of nearly 20 layers of components, derived from photos from Greece, Italy, Spain, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. I think this is appropriate since I perceive Cyberia as a virtual global village made up of all kinds of people.
Ah perfect. People may well imagine Cyberia differently but I do love this virtual global village. There is so much scope for our imagination here. Mine is all a flutter and we all know that is nothing short of perilous for all around me.
Lori - I would loan you my tiny brain and allow you to invent my imagination if it were possible! It’s not possible because I haven’t got beyond ‘Page 1 - you now own a digital camera.’ I wish I knew how you do this but in some ways not because it would be like telling a kid there’s no Santa!
