The Song of the Herb Robert Fairy

Little Herb Robert,
Bright and small,
peeps from the bank
or the old stone wall.
from Cicely Mary Barker’s “Flower fairies of the summer”
Little Herb Robert,
his leaf turns red;
He’s wild geranium,
so it is said.

Love these. I have a book with these images in it. Priceless!
These have always been very special to me - I first had a collection of the books when I was a child and the fairies were always very real to me - they still are! Thank you for this.
I have all four books as well, ever since I was small I loved these. My favourite was the poplar tree fairy.
This is very sweet.
Lovely, Carol. This will look beautiful on the wall of the shop - got any more?
