Last days at Owl Island before packing and going to the Land of Standing Stones with le Enchanteur and adventurous travellers. Owl Island has been such a lovely place to retreat to that I feel sure I will return soon to rest and regenerate.

Everyone loves White Owl Island - a space of rest and retreat in Nature with Fran’s (the Resident Crone.) wise owls for company, whispering sea grasses, and big, wide skies.  The rush of the sea is the only sound to be heard.  Time to rest, read, explore, or paint, as Heather does there.   If you want to go to Owl Island for a dose of creative R&R, contact Heather.  Lemuria is full of amazing places to explore, even if just for a day trip, not far from the City of Ladies, or other parts of this magical land.

  2. I shall wait for you with the Great White Owl in the office up from the shore. The tiny owls have grown and left us but someone has whispered that there are five nests in the hollows of the great oaks in the centre. Please tread carefully if you wander in our woods. The Secretary

  3. Reminds me of the little island of Guemes in the Pacific Northwest where I used to live. I will enjoy coming to White Owl Island often.

  6. Great images. White Owl Island brings out the best in everyone. The muse must especially like the air quality and the company.

  7. Now is my memory playing tricks or did I visit Owl Island in another life…….
Sit under a big owl tree look up to the sky while luxurating on a bed of warm straw
Talking to Owl babies just out of the nest …telling to stop squarking for food as their Mother is on her way back
Did I walk around Owl is and see magical stones of an era long long ago and placed in positions only those who were here know about the meanings of…
Is this another dream of mine as I slumber in a warm bed at night not on Owl Island but beside a windy shoreline called Port Phillip Bay which is throwing up white waves so high as a storm lashes the coastline……
If so these dreams lull me to sleep………………knowing I am safe…………….
