Time Spent with the Dame
Seasons come and seasons go,
Nature’s song,
wheeling cosmically,
unrelenting,
time spent with the Dame
washes a lot,
(with her humming song),
of the past away.
To greet Imogen and Orlando,
anew,
free of travel disarray and dirt,
to occupy new places,
is surprising -
to say the least.

Divine! I just love the thought of Imogen and Orlando being freed of travel disarray and dirt and occupying new places.

i like the idea of nature’s song wheeling cosmically – there are some things of the past I think we would all like to wash away.

I think the spa of Lemuria is not for pampering so much as for getting a fresh start.

Orlando, eh? I’m glad you survived the Dame’s scrubbing. Lovely poem, Monika.
